Yee-Ping Cho is an award-winning designer with proven experience in creative direction, art direction and design in the areas of corporate communication and branding. Over his career, he’s had the opportunity to work with clients including Countrywide, Qualcomm, Hilton, Sempra Energy, UCLA and USC. Beyond Baker, he has served as principal of Yee-Ping Cho Design, designer with Jim Cross at Cross Associates, and senior graphic designer with the in-house retirement plans communications group at American Funds.
Yee-Ping is an avid learner, and finds great value and satisfaction in sharing knowledge with others as evidenced by his adjunct teaching gigs with The Art Institute, Art Center, Venice Arts and TypeEd. His work has been recognized and published in The One Show, Communication Arts, Print, AIGA, The Type Director’s Club, AR100, The NY Art Director’s Club, Graphis and Photo District News, among others. Additionally, his work can be found in the permanent collection in the United States Library of Congress and his photos have appeared in the Wall Street Journal and The Graphic Eye, published by Chronicle.
A native of New York, he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter (and their robot dog).
